Demons Among Us

Today I started a new book, The Witchstone by Henry Neff! I have loved this author since I was a kid reading reading The Tapestry series. It was the first books that I actually thought that reading could be my own thing. I could be a part of the adventure and help to decide the fate of the world. It gave me the sense of control that I needed as a teen through young adulthood. I have loved his books for many years and am excited to dive into his new adventure.

Today, I once again traveled. I am aware that I am giving y'all a false sense of my activity levels. I promise that come the school year, I will be boring again. I came home for a few days to get stuff from my closet from when I was a kid. It is so stressful to be back facing childhood demons of insecurities to find great teaching supplies. I will, however, give the biggest shout out to my parents for providing me with teaching supplies for this up coming year!
