Fancy Seeing You Here

Welcome friends to my first blog post of many! I am so excited to start the year, but also somewhat nervous. This year, for the first time in 20 years I am not a student. My friends have now gone to different cities, states, and countries after college. I am, however, a first year teacher. I am also for the first time in my life going to be long distance with my partner. While we are both in the same state, we will only have weekends together. This is my longwinded way to say that for the first time in my life, I actually have to figure out how to fill my time.

To do this, I am going to hopefully finally figure out how to cook and reignite my love of sewing. I am going to try new activities and restaurants by myself which has always made me nervous. I will work on gardening and improving my house. I want to try everything, even though I am not totally sure where to start.

The point of this blog is mostly for me to reflect and unwind, but I hope that you can find something that you enjoy in your reading. This will be a place to celebrate wins, laugh off fails, and mostly make attempts!
