Piercing Through the Chaos

On Thursday of last week I pierced my ears which is something I have gone back and forth on for awhile. I have always liked the way that earrings look and thought I had extra big ear lobes that could use some bling...so I did it. I went to Buddha Box in San Antonio (could not recommend highly enough Derek) and felt so at peace doing something for me.

Why I have waited a few days is because I was nervous about the healing process and if I would actually like them. Turns out it is fine and I love them! My older sister had to do so much work and they ended up being terrible when she was 15. Maybe it is my age, my exhaustion from work, or just how hands off I have been with them, but they have not hurt or bled. You best believe that I am knocking on wood even as I say it. I am starting to do more for me and feel happier. I am starting slowly to try to get back into hobbies and pull myself from the depths I had fallen into. Ever post will be lighter and in general I will hopefully be able to add more to this page!
